150cl, new exclusive Danish brew Anno 2009, thx to Jeppe!, complex bitter X-Mas brew, yet easy to drink, balanced, cloudy, rocky head, very good brew, yet expensive!

Bottle. Pours an unclear, dark amber beer with an offwhite head. The aroma is hops with peach and citrus. The flavor follows the nose with hops with peach, citrus and grapefruit. The palate is bitter. Overall a good beer.

Unclear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, grapefruit, orange, light to moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light heavy bitter with a average to long duration, dry finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20091212]

A Mes rate. Bottle at Chris O’s Night of the Gaylords.
A very attractive orange amber with a thin but lasting white head. Just utterly incredible hops. Spruce, cranberry, red current, marvelously tropical, faint spice and pepper and just all round bloody outstanding. Glorious palate, long dry finish. Yet another reason to love Mikkeller.

Bottle at Chriso Gaylord tasting 09. Massive thanks to Fonefan for this one. My beer of the tasting, even though there was a lot to choose from. Lots of hops on aroma. Lovely. Really really good. Like the Festival 2009 beer. Lovely. Hops are stunning. Would happily dirnk the whole 1.5 litre bottle to myself. Have I mentioned the hops????
