Quack-Duck (11866) - Down South, GERMANY - OCT 19, 2010bottle, traded with jaghana - merci beaucoup! Hazy pale yellow colour, very large fluffy white head. Citrusy nose. Full-bodied, solid malty base, lots of citrusy hops with a god amount of resiny bitterness. A pleasure, really delicious.
Bov (14982) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - MAY 16, 2010courtesy of Allen - cloudy dark orange colour with a modest head retention; fairly flowery and fruity hoppy aroma with notes of grapefruit and star fruit; very sweet and with a medium malt backbone, quite sticky palate; the finish is decently bitter with lot of residual sugars and long fruity tones - the alcohol is quite well hidden which makes it a dangerous beer
Calisky (5253) - ALSACE, FRANCE - MAY 13, 2010Malgrés ses 12 degrés cette bière est légère, savoureuse et très sucrée. A recommander.
Embrouille (2879) - SWITZERLAND - MAY 9, 2010Bottled 33cl. Purchased in Village de la bière, Strasbourg. It pours a lactic, surpringly pale golden beer with a small head. Clove, citrusy hops, orange, juniper and caramel showing up in the nose which is faintly medicinal. Full bodied. Peppery. Warming on the swallow. Residual sugars in the finish which is alcoholic, grassy, mainly reminiscent of clove and juniper.
jaghana (7774) - Strasbourg (Alsace), FRANCE - MAR 22, 2010Bottle 33cl bougth at Schiltigheim (France). An amasing IPA, the hops are there but not too spacy and not acid at all. A very round beer, plesant with smal lemon taste and something very nice like caramel or valilla. This beer has 12° (noticed on the bottle) but it goes very well. One of the best thing I ever tasted. I also tasted it at the "Mondial de la biere" and was less happy. I think they have changed the recipe, now it’s very sweet and heavy in alcool.
