On tap @ Thunder Canyon - Served in a pint glass. Pours a hazy amber color with a one finger thick off white head. The headed lasted all the way to the bottom of the glass and left some thick lacing on the way down. Aroma is pine and herbal hops. Flavor is basically the same. Has a very slight astringent aftertaste. Medium body. A pretty nice IPA.

Feb 20, 2010 On tap at the 2010 AZ Strong Beer Festival. Pours hazy amber with an off-white head. The nose is skunky hop oils, malt and sweet citrus. The taste is caramel, sweet citrus and a mellow bitter resin finish. Serviceable but nothing to write home about.

Jan 26, 2010 Pint glass at the brewery. Medium amber pour with a nice head that lasts. Citrus pine grapefruit with a nice bite atvthe end. Go for it.

Dec 29, 2009 Pours hazy yellow with fluffy white head that lasted throughout the beer. Nose is citrus, and more piny hops. Taste up front is blasted with citrus and more piny hops, and then has a bit of caramel sweetness that works its way well into a nice bitter finish. How all IPAs should be made, an excellent beer that I wish I could get all the time!
