Commercial Description:
Our special 10th anniversary beer is the biggest IPA we have had the nerve to make. Almost all Pale malt, with less than one percent each of Carastan and Wheat makes a beer quite pale for its size at 19 plato OG. We added Chinook, Centennial and Cascade hops just about every place and every way we could think of - giving it lots of hop flavor and aroma and enough bitterness to compliment the telltale sweetness of the malt. One patron says "It makes you smile so your mouth's big enough for the beer". 6.25% alcohol by weight 7.8% by volume. This beer is also known as the Ten Year Imperial IPA.

Clear orange-amber body with minimal head. Nice hoppy aroma, firm malts also. Not over the top however. The flavor is much more pronounced with grapefruit hops and a good wallop of sweet malts. Medium fuill bodied. This is really an IIPA IMHO.

Thanks to AmEricanbrew. Poured a hazed dark gold with yeasty floaties. Can still smell a good amount of hops. Citrus and pine with a sweet bready malt. Hop forward flavor but mellowed by time. Pine finish with a mild-moderate bitter finish. Balanced great with sweet malt and a semi-dry finish. Light to medium bodied. Aged but not oxidized and nicley melded flavors. Pretty good stuff.

Cloudy amber with a thin head. Mild smell of piney hops and caramel. Full bodied and smooth. decent taste is first a sweetbread maltiness then a mostly bitter alcohol taste to finish. Their Bagwhan ipa is much better than this. 06/08/2007

A hazy orange beer with no head. The aroma is very powerfully sweet with lots of hops. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of both caramel and hops, and a very thick body.

(Bottle 65 cl) Slightly hazy amber golden with a tiny head. Aroma of caramel and citrus. Medium body with some rather sweet caramel notes and then some extremely fruity, pleasant citrus notes. Very American - very lovely. 130806
