Lemon soap aroma. Sweet sugary caramel.
Taste is…. Good. Interesting that its one-hop gives it a 1-D character. A little bit a sweetness in my glass, a little bit a hoppin in my glass. Okay beer, but needs more complexity for me.

Not the most aggressive single hop offering.. but unique. More florals and herbal tones. Nice j12601 (1705), Poughkeepsie, New York, USA

Pours a hazy ruby brown with a thin beige head. Nice citrus, and almost a bit of booze, which wasn’t present in any of the others. Milky smooth with a long earthy grapefruit and quinine bitterness. ¾ (5108), Boulder, Colorado, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 18, 2010 The pour is a hazy, rusty-amber color with a huge, off-white, creamy, rocky head which sticks around for quite some time and leaves scattered, sticky lace. The nose is pleasant but subtle with mostly citrus notes of orange and tangerine, light floral notes, and faint apricot and leafy notes. The flavor is much of the same with similar fruit notes (orange, tangerine, apricot), subtle floral, light rustic hints, and some faint sweet breads. The palate is medium, soft to lively, sticky, and velvety. The finish is fairly long and mostly bitter with rustic, floral, and tangerine notes. It is hard for me to imagine that this is the same recipe as the Tomahawk; this one relies on its subtleties versus to the brash nature of the Tomahawk. Only a moderate bitterness from this IPA but nice hop flavors make it quite pleasant. TeamTrappist (520), jericho, New York, USA
