Tap @ Charlies Bar, Cph.
Pours clear deep amber, close to red. Super-nice staying, creamy, off-white head. Sparkler??? Almost no aroma, light caramel. Sparkler??? Low carbonation, fine creamy and lightly dry mouthfeel. Sweet creamy caramel flavour, light citric and flowery. Some milky chocolate peeps thrugh. The hops add into a rather firm bitterness in the aftertaste. Okay.

Draught Porterhouse, London. Clean deep copper-red body, creamy dense nitro head. Light roast malt, rich toffee and moderate hop fruitiness on the nose. Good creamy carbonation, full bodied. Rich toffee and chocolate malt body, bitter citrus hop character balances it out. Nice red ale, hard to fault!

On nitro at the brewpub. Clear copper wtih creamy nitro head, more pronounced than the other samples. Aroma is light toast and caramel. Flavor is mild spicey and earthy hops with caramel, toasted, Munich malt, a little chalky. Medium to light creamy body with a surprisingly active carbonation level for a nitro beer. Not bad.

From tap at Charlies, Copenhagen as Dublin Red Connolly, porterhouse brewery ireland. clear red, smooth thick vanilla head. faint mild slightly fruity aroma. flavor is fruity, "red" red berry sweet, very mild and round. it reminds me a lot of guinness in softness and palate even taste, only the flavor is more red berryish and a lot less stoutish than guinness.
