Buena cerveza.

Very obviously a draught Guiness clone. Unfortunately they copied the negative aspects a little too closely. Very gassy and artificial tasting - if anything, even more so than the original. There is some roasty flavour up front, but this was so gassy that after a full meal I couldn’t even finish the pint - a rarity indeed!

Bottle shared at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Pours brown to black with a beige head, aroma of chocolate, honey, malt, corn, flavor of chocolate, honey, corn and bread, medium bodied.

Draught at Temple!Dark red-brown with a nitrogenated finger of head. The aroma has a mild roast with light caramel and chocolate notes. Smooth malt in the middle with a moderate bitterness on the finish. Pretty straight forward and a bit boring.

Aroma is caramelised roast tones. Taste is weak and sour, wondering if the bottle is bad somehow. Short and a bit biter in late taste. Either a bad beer or just a bad example of it.

Draught at the brewpub, Dublin. Dark red-brown with a nitro head. The aroma is light roast malt, weak chocolate and coffee notes. The flavour is smooth malt with hints of bitter chocolate. Thin palate, dry finish.

Svart/brun med mellanstort skum. Doftar lite rostat, choklad och kaffe. Fyllig och riktigt bra!

Bottle. Deep red with a small head. Oxidized aroma with crystal malt and raisin. Hop flavor is gone and other flavors are chewy crystal malt. Not overly roasty. It’s low abv but it seems a little overly attenuated for porter. . Sharp carbonation.

Halv pint på porterhouse. Något ljusare än kola. Doftar och smakar som en blaskig Guinness.

Bottled. Pours deep, dark brown with a small, lacing off-white head. Aroma of slightly roasted malt, coffee and chocolate note. Sweet flavor that ends up more dry and with bitter notes. Medium bodied, watery to oily texture and soft carbonation. A nice pleasant Porter.
