Cask @ The Wharf, Aalborg. Pours a dark, dark brown with a lasting creamy off-white head. Nice lacing. Dry, roasted aroma with a bit of coffee notes. Flavour is roasted with spicy notes (cloves?). Mildly bitter finish. 27-09-09.

Draught. Clear very deep dark red-brown colour. Beautiful creamy beige steady light brown head, which lasts for a long time and leaves a very nice lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, smoke and coffee. Good mouthfeel. Pleasant roasted maltiness in the flavour with some smoked turf, coffee, and a pleasant soft bitterness. Dry roasty bit smoky finish. Yum!

From tap at Charlies. Pours clear, golden deep amber to dark brown with a creamy, dense and light tan head. Aroma is roasted malty, dark breadish and vague hardroasted acidic. Smooth breadish roasted, liqourice and dark chocolate flavoured. Creamy smooth mouthfeel. Bitter and slight acidic lingering flavour into the far finish. Nice one.

Nice roasted aroma. Had a decent head. The flavor is hard to describe except to say in that the obvious that it gave it an oyster flavor! Was also bitter and had a dry finish. Anyway it tasted pretty good which is the most important thing.
