maverix35 (4) - Somerset West, SOUTH AFRICA - MAY 16, 2013 does not count Very drinkable. Not birkenhead’s best, but great on a hot summer’s lunchtime. The naysayers must have got a bad batch...
Oakes (30657) - Richmond, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 16, 2012Light amber colour. Fairly full malt aroma with a light honeyish sweetness and a biscuity note. Clean, sweet, with some deliberate toasty notes.
Beershine (5277) - Miami, Florida, USA - OCT 17, 2012Draft at restaurant near brewery and also at brewery Amber gold. The aroma is all toasty malt. Body is sweet with a peppery hop middle. Would very much prefer a crisper finish. It is too sweet but drinkable.
