MaartenRF10 (1956) - Wageningen, NETHERLANDS - APR 20, 2014Drie jaar oud. Erg goed.

Hazy amber - brown beer. Small white frothy head. Fresh light hoppy nose - starfruit with traces of apple and peach. Light fresh semi dry palate. Light fresh hop flavours. Tangerine with lesser notes of grapefruit and bitter orange. Light creamy malt base. Very drinkable fresh hoppy beer. Could session this!

gEUS (1637) - Linden, BELGIUM - MAR 28, 201275 cl bottle - bottled 27/12/2009 - bottle 343/366. Pours deep orange with white head. Smeels like white peach, a vegetable touch - parcely. Body is full with medium carbonation - from sweet in the start to nice bitterness in the end. Taste is vegetal indeed...
maneliquor (3513) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - MAR 28, 2012Bottle from Mane Liquor. To put this simply, it reminds me of a hoppy, slightly sour orange juice. Very fruity and hoppy. Weird beer. It literally smells like orange juice. Very unique. Cool beer
Storm_Warning (84) - Suffolk, ENGLAND - FEB 5, 2012Currently drinking while typing. Once uncorked (75cl bottle, #139 out of #190 of a 1st Feb ’11 bottled batch, so relatively very fresh and un-aged) you get good aromas of De Molen character! Large base of floral hops, tangy caramel, cinnamon, malt, winter fruit and yeast. Beautiful looking copper, amber beer with an off white slightly greyish head which was rather volatile when pouring. Nice hoppy taste with a bitter edge to it, maybe a bit too bitter for this beer in my opinion which made it for me not as good as the Vuur & Vlam. Flavours of floral hop, tangy malt, yeast, winter spices and herbs with an alkaline aftertaste which leaves a very gentle warmth to the throat. Clean palate with a suitable body and volume in the mouth for the style it is, not unpleasant or clingy, heavy or generaly bad. Good beer again from De Molen, not their best but either way it blows most beers out of the water. Worth purchasing!
sebletitje (11868) - Bruxelles, BELGIUM - DEC 11, 201175cl bottle from DeMolen biershop. Bottle # 72/170 for this batch, bottled on 1/4/2011.

Scopey (24103) - Oldmeldrum, SCOTLAND - NOV 13, 2011Bottle at Nate’s Birthday bash, thanks to Mr. Leighton. It pours hazy golden orange, with a decent foamy white head. The nose is sweet orange, dough, hay and yeast. The taste is sweet orange, citrus pith, dough, bread, light spice, hay and straw, with a dry-citric finish. Medium body, average carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Decent, but not up to the fresh Kernel I was drinking the same evening.
Leighton (33639) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 8, 2011Bottle at Nate’s Off The Hook Birthday Tasting. Pours cloudyish gold with a large, white head. Huge pithy citrus nose. Medium sweet flavor, sweet citrus, pith, a bit of toast, faint honey. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Semi-dry finish, dry citrus pith, some sugar. Great stuff, very drinkable.
