Very nicely funky. Hoppy and rather bitter. Would welcome even more funkiness. The taste is sour and rather harshly hoppy bitter

yeasty aroma, fruits, some acidic notes, cooked vegetables; golden, hazy, big white foam, nice lacing; medium+ bitterness, slightly sweet and light+ sourness; medium body, thin but slightyl oily feel, average+ carbonation, slightly metallic, long bitter and dry finish Overall: good looking beer with ok taste and slightly flawed aroma, not bad though

Mega Gusher! Geelbruine kleur met een grote kraag. Ruikt zoetig, giist, kruiden. Smaakt fruitig, zoetig, gist, brood. Beetje kruiden en citrus. Veel koolzuur.

blackisle (4370) - Amsterdam IJburg, NETHERLANDS - NOV 12, 2015
UPDATED: APR 27, 2020 Bottle 33cl. Cloudy deep golden colour with tiny yeast particles, large frothy white head, half-way lasting, fair lacing. Aroma of overripe fruits (orange, tangerine), yeast, candy sugar. Taste is medium sweet and bitter, malty, lemony, spicy, light sour notes. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Dry bitter finish, peppery notes, a strange brew, a beer without a direction, despite that pleasant to drink.

UPDATED: SEP 5, 2015 33cl bottle at pop-up bar ’Bij Van Laere op ’t Hof’ in Oosteeklo, Stroomstraat 20 (30 VIII 2015). Drank as ’Bernarken Blond’. More orange then blonde coloured beer with white yet very fast diminishing head. A brew with malt and yeast flavours. The taste is full of sweets, bitter, and a dash of sour. Think of oranges and sweet fruits. A tasty beer.

Strong aroma, perhaps to much. Appears pale and cloudy. A fresh taste in the beginning with a long lasting finish of bitterness. Sweetness typical for the style. Full body and average carbonation. Fine foam.
