UPDATED: AUG 8, 2020 Lots of aroma of grapes. Yeast, grapes, a little sweet and malty taste. Okay bitter that fills the upper part of the mouth for a long time. Good beer. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

DijkBier (3367) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - JUN 3, 2020
UPDATED: JUN 3, 2020 Matt dark-golden to light-amber brew with near-white foamy head; excellent retention. Aroma slightly honey/caramel, bit yeasty, but something more; intriguing. Taste bitter-sweet, with a fruity-citric twist in the finish. Quite strong carbo. Actually not at all bad! (Must admit that I had lower expectations, both with 'old fashioned' Belgian beer, relatively commercial, and bio...). Seems as if there is something orangy in it.

bonkiedeaap (1613) - Leerdam, NETHERLANDS - DEC 28, 2019
UPDATED: DEC 28, 2019 Bottle from de Caigny dranken in Essen, Belgium. The beer is hazy golden to amber colored with a stable white foam. Carbonation is very good. The aroma is malts, caramel, toffee, citrus hops, grains and spices. Taste is light to medium bodied with sweet malts, caramel and goes to bitter with citrus hops and spices. The finish watery, dry and bitter. Not so good.

Soft carbonation, oily to watery texture, moderate malty and light aged cereals impression, medium/long sweet final.

nathanvc (5934) - Gent, BELGIUM - FEB 24, 2018
Pours hazy dark golden/light amber with a big, frothy, off-white head. The aroma contains bread, barley, grain, hay, rye, grass, herbs, some grapes (white wine). It tastes medium grainy/hay-like bitter and light berry-like sour; almost no sweetness. Dry, grainy, grassy finish. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy to lively carbonation. In itself it's an 'honest' beer (what you see on the bottle is what you get) but this is definitely not my cup of tea.
