(Bottled 10/01/03) Excellent hop nose (very fruity) coupled with cookie dough malt. The palate is medium in body with an awfully silky mouth feel. I find the finish to be long and lasting, with hops dominating the flavor. I really like this American Pale Ale; it is well balanced and very complex.

Pours a clear golden amber color with golden yellow hues when held to a light source and a one finger frothy white head that quickly fades into a lasting ring. Earthy hop aroma with lots of golden straw and grass character. Hints of biscuit malt and bread along with some crisp light fruit. Light, crisp medium body which is very well balanced and more complex than the average pale ale. Nice earthy dry hops up front which are quickly countered by a very refreshing sweet biscuity pilsner malt-like backbone. There’s also a fairly prominent earthy grass/straw presence and some sweet light crisp fruit notes, especially green apple. Very quaffable, excellent example of the style.

Thanks AdamSkillin for the bottle. Very hoppy on the aroma. A little closer to amber than copper in color. The flavor manages to stay hoppy without overwhelming bitterness. Solid brew

Clear golden pour with a one finger sudsy white head. Aroma is somewhat sudsy with mild hints of sweet malt and grain. Flavor is muted to an extent- some sweet malt in the form of caramel and toast with a citrus and grass hop character that provides a nice hop backbone. Palate is medium to full for the style, with a clean semi-smacking finish. Tastey, but a bit overrated.

thanks goes to weerae 138 from the other site,. poured a amber wit a off wite head. aroma hops, and malts, grapefruit. flavor gotta love thise cascade hops they jump right out there. got some lemon and grapefruit and just a hint of malts. this was a good beer

This beer pours a nice golden to light amber color with a quality head that leaves sexy lacing. Smells of hops. Tastes of hops with a little citrusy edge to it. It is pretty close to an IPA and judging by the alcohol content of the beer, it is right on the line betweem the two styles.

Bottle. I’m excited to find these guys in NY now. Amber pour with a quickly fading head. Citrus and floral hop aromas. Even malt flavors with bright and crisp citrusy hops. Has a bit of a minerally quality as well. Medium to full bodied. Pretty good APA.

Pours a orange yellow with a decent white head that has nice retention. Sweet malt is full in the aroma along with some muted floral hops. The flavor is nice, grapefruit and grass elements along with some light caramel malt. Crisp, but with a decent body and well balanced throughout. Would be an awesome session beer if it was available here.
