Bottle sample from backlog notes. Pours a clear dark golden color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have pale malts, bready, light hop character, citrus, grass, not much to get excited about.

Aroma comes across strange, maybe deceptive, leaning pilsner-ish with a floral hop brightness offset by grainy light malts. Pours well enough, gold and slightly hazed, a fluffy white head popping up momentarily before receding with modest lace. Tastes...lager-ish, although I’m just now realizing my bottle says "Chatoe Rogue" on the front, so who the hell knows how old it is. (Hint: very.) Getting a lot of lager notes, though, apple and a mild grainy sweetness backed up by a modest orange malt slant. Floral, herbal hops add a bitter finish, and the fade is pure Rogue Pacman yeast. Not a great Pale Ale, not a great Rogue beer.

Perhaps a hint of haze, just not a “bright” amber color. Moderate and stable off-white head. Light herbs to floral aroma. Hints of floor and caramel malts. Seems quite traditional. It seems like a scent from a cask. Nothing particularly overpowering or exciting, but a solid ale scent. Fairly light and crisp in feel. Flavors follow the aromas and are quite crisp as well. Lightly sweet. With just a hint of bitterness for balance. Lightly toasted and hints of caramel. Dry herbs mingle slightly. A nice simple ale. 2/10

This pours a semi-hazy, straw yellow color with a slight white head. The aroma is grassy/grainy. The flavor is well-balanced for the style with the prefect texture. There is a decent amount of earthy, organic flavors. It finishes with a lingering, grassy grain flavor. Interesting and yet quite simple.

Aroma is fresh clove, yeast, lemon grass and light sweet malts. Taste is a sweet light fresh maltiness with an immediate tartiness the finishes with a slight bitterness but not overpowering. Appearance is a hazy gold with a fluffy pearl head that retains well.

Very drinkable but only decent . Citrus aroma, malty taste with the hoppy bitterness on finish.

Bottle. Sour milk, orange malt and orange peel aroma. Hazy golden yellow with small head. Sweet orange malt and moderately bitter orange peel flavor. Okay but boring.
