Commercial Description:
This smooth lager strikes a delicate balance between malt and hops in the aroma, palate, finish and body. It has more body and less hops than a Pilsner, and less malt and more hops than a Munich style lager. 30 IBU.

12 oz. bottle courtesy of a trade with DeuceDeuceOU. Pours a brilliant clear gold with a moderate white head that lasted through most of the glass and partially coated the glass. Light but pleasant floral aroma along with a little bit of malt. The malt and hops come through more in the flavor, especially the hops. Medium bitterness at the finish. Not my favorite style, but not a bad representation either.

Bronze colored brew with virtually no carbonation. Light vienna malt aroma wafts off the glass with a slight heaviness. Pilsner malt flavor with a slight sour mash quality. Not really my thing.

Thanks to Dankman for the bottle! Pours slighty hazy shade of gold. White fizzy head with light lacing. Hoppy aroma with malty backbone. slighty bitter finish as hops are mentionable, very sessionable beer

On tap at Coles, Buffalo NY. Mediumgolden pour. Not getting much aroma at all here. Actually had a peanut butter taste up front. Not sure if the keg is old but wierd. Just to make sure i wasnt nuts i tried again & still there. Sweeter malts. Crisp clean, nutty.

Amber colour, medium body, nice finger sized white head, and even a little lacing that runs down the glass in each sip. bubbles that rise steadily from bottom to top like clockwork. really nice beer, soft hoppy charachter that hits the top of the roof of your mouth every time.

Bottle: Copper color with a white head. Aroma, some bready malts, and some grassy hops. Flavor, some yeast, some malts, a nice bit of bitterness. Very refreshing beer. Definitely one of my favorite lagers.

Keith-Gorgeous golden color and a hops/malt aroma. Not light or strong, this beer is unique to the nose, eyes, and mouth. I could see drinking this in many situations. rating 3.2 Eric-pours light orange hue with nice white head-decent lacing from the start. sweet, noble hop aroma-grassy and spicy with a touch of skunkness, but was not detracting. flavors are spicy hops, slight malts and a firm hop bitterness on the finish. good body and mouthfeal. the bottle said "best by 6/14/04 and it was still good!

Nice golden/amber color, small white head that faded slowly and left a slight lace behind.Good light malty aroma with a slight hint of olive (Green) and maybe some hops and fruit as well.Nice fruity flavor some malt and a nice hop presence that doesn’t get to out of hand but stays in the quite refreshing range.A very nice brew and i’m glad i have one more for later. Thanks go to Footbalm for sending me this brew and others from this brewery along with some great samples from his company.
