Alengrin (11018) - Gent, BELGIUM - SEP 5, 2014Unusual in being a new, ’modern’ blonde table beer since 1999. On 75 cl bottles and cans. Cream white, sticky head, deep orange blonde colour, clear. Weak malt sweetness in the nose but the different other ingredients, i.e. oats, rye, lemon, orange and coriander are all noticeable, as well as abstract impressions of Brussels sprouts, cloves, tomato, pear and iron. Grainy taste, bit sourish, light spicy rye effect, lemonade-like ascorbic acid, light coriander, no hops worth mentioning and thin and watery finish with some citrus peel, bit metallic. Interesting concept, but artificial, I still prefer the more artisanal table beers. Not to be taken too seriously as it is literally marketed towards children.

amaury (7) - BELGIUM - FEB 3, 2011 does not count Cette bière n’est qu’une bière comme une autre. Elle a rien de spéciale... Mais elle est pas mal pour une soirée entre pote.
Doriandm (11) - - FEB 2, 2011ottled. Clear amber, minimal head. Fruiny nose with some melon. Sweet with rounded mouthfeel, but it’s not thin! Fruity with notes of saccharine and black currant. No bitterness. At least it has some substance, making it a reasonably drinkable table beer.

wimpie133 (381) - Brugge, BELGIUM - DEC 10, 2009Bottle, 75 cl, shared with friends. Amber coloured, medium white head, disappearing immediately. Aroma of skunky grains, shit, like a fart of a kidney patient. The taste however is much better: many grains and light sweet.
Parket (587) - Bruges, BELGIUM - DEC 7, 2009ugly 75 cl bottle, amber coloured with small white head. Grainy smell. Taste: zweet, soft bitter. Very watery tablebeer.
Sten (828) - Westerlo, BELGIUM - FEB 3, 2009Dark golden coloured beer with a small white head. Very fresh and sweet in the nose. Thin body, sweet flavour. (Bottle 75cl, can 33cl)
fata2683 (2176) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - JAN 4, 2009can, pours light amber with a whispy white head, laces fairly well. Aromas of sweet cereal. Tastes extremely sweet, almost like white grape juice. Next to no bitterness. I can see this table beer appealing to kids but not to me.
DruncanVeasey (10348) - Nr NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - NOV 21, 2008UPDATED: NOV 26, 2008 Only unrated ’beer’ in Brugge Carrefour? Might as well start rating 7Up. Headless dead bronze. Nose faintly caramelised sugar, mouth saccharine. Won’t form a head from any height. What an offensive pile of sugary wank.
