It has the same fresh flavor that comes in a good ale but I don’t think it tastes like a typical IPA. Not quite as much hoppy flavor as some IPA’s, instead more of a balance between the malt and hops. Overall very good beer. Snoop59 (78), Penn Run, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 4, 2009 bottle - Pours copper with a one finger head and an aroma of caramel malt and citrus hops. The moderately bitter flavor has good grapefruit notes and a nice malt balance. IPA, huh? I thought it was an American Pale. It’s good either way, but the flavor profile had me thinking really good APA.
