Obviously this one has polarised opinions. It’s like the giggling blonde at the party. Very pretty to look at, but nothing from the neck up. Refreshing in its own way, but disappointingly shallow.

(Bottle 33 cl) Beautiful, clear copper coloured beer with a dense and quite stable head. Closer to being a Dark rather than Pale Lager. Has a light caramel like note with a very discreet underlying bitterness. Not a great beer, but very fresh and quenching. 110504

I did’nt have the highest expectations about this beer, and those I did have was not fullfilled. A thin (very thin) brew without any aroma or flavor.

bleaugh. just like flame beer but takes you more of them to get pissed, ie a featureless brown sweet thing with adjuncty edge and thinness.

this beer sucked with even more vigour than was expected. i mean majorly. just amber, flavourless, fizzy, industrial, nasty, slightly nutty

The aroma is simple malty sweet. The color is a weird clear light nut brown and it has a fine head. The body is thin as water. The flavor is slightly sweet and malty with slight notes of nuts. It ends on an OK bitterness. The beer is not bad - it is just way too thin and therefore not good - plain boring - but maybe a winter night in Denmark is not the right place to drink it - at this moment it is close to noon in the beginning of summer in NZ - being in NZ right now would probably lift my rating.

Bottle. Reddish tinge. Most of the flavour has been filtered out, but there is a nice gentle malty sweetness. Hint of tea in the finish. Develops a cheap stewed hops flavour as it warms.

Clear bottle shows lots of sewage brown sediment although the label says "micro filtered". Pours a hazy amber greyish-brown under a small quickly vanishing white head. Moderately skunky aroma on opening of bottle which fades to a faint sweet malt. Watery faintly fizzy coal sweet and malt flavour. Maybe it was going off or maybe it's supposed to be like this but either way it's a drain pour!
