If I were to drink this on my birthday, I’d have to save it till next August - but I have friends and family who were born in November (one was born on Thanksgiving, in fact!) so this is for them. Pours clear golden orange with a thick, frothy and persistent eggshell head. Resiny hops have the lead in the aroma, while malt and grapefruit co-star. Flavor features hoppy, woody, resin, citrus and malty tones, enjoyable if not spectacular. Mouthfeel presents typical body, but good strong fizz. Every day is somebody’s birthday, so celebrate!

Bottle. The look is clear, a white head, and is golden orange in color. The smell is hoppy, so pure hoppy with splash of hop juice that has hops added. Fruits, grass, good stuff going. Bitter hoppy goodness.

Bottle from Craft Ale House, and I am absolutely turgid to find this one. Pours relatively clear dark straw with 2-finger off-white head. The head is loud, and sounds like a nymphomaniac opening and closing her labia digitally. Nose is gigantic resin, resin to spare, must be at least 100 plus IBU here, plus pineapple, white pepper. Tastes hoppy, resiny, with a huge IBU load, pineapple, dryness and bitterness throughout, and an overall flavor, nose, and finish that gives hop heads wet dreams. If you are sessioning this, then you better be a goddamned hophead, and you better pack an all day lunch.

Bottle: The aroma consists of mango, citrus, grapefruit, light dank hops, and a hint of lemon. It pours a a transparent amber with a large off-white head that has great retention and leaves behind thin soapy rings on the sides of the glass with each sip. The flavor starts with a quick dose of tropical fruits, citrus, and a touch of mango. The finish has light-moderate grapefruit with lighter dank hops, pine, and a touch of herbal hops. It’s light bodied with light-moderate carbonation.

Pours almost clear with thin white creamy head. Fresh sweet hoppy nose. Taste is full with both light sweet, fruity hops and solid bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium rich with light to medium carbonation. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. Solid ipa methinks.

Bottle. Pours clear gold orange with a white tight head that fades to a thin film and lacing. Aroma has earthy hops like pine spruce and tons of malt which shows earthiness caramel. Taste is really all the above, little lively pine spruce and carbonation with caramel malt. Palate is thin fizzy good carbonation. Easy drinker and very nice.
