Pour from a growler shared by bsuedekum- thanks again, Blake! Been wanting to try this one for quite a while. Pours a clear, bright gold with a small white head. Aroma of herbal and oily hops, pale malts, and freshly peeled citrus peel. Flavor of dry malts, herbal and oily hops, pine, and grapefruit. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a dry, bitter mouthfeel. Great APA.

Pour out of growler, Darkness Day 2012. Straw yellow pour with lacing white head, aroma brought awesome notes of lots of orange peel, grapefruit, nice dank pine and grassy notes, some slight hints of floral and spicy notes. Taste is a mix of sweet orange, grapefruit, nice toffee, biscuit, bread, nice grass, pine and floral notes, finishing bitter. Very nice brew.

On tap at the brewery numerous occasions. Super easy drinking ale. Very refreshing on a warm day out east in Alpine. Bitter, floral and crisp throughout with citrus and pine character, very thirst quenching. Just like the rest of Alpines world-class bitter brews, insanely balanced from beginning to end.
