stravale (2062) - Near Carrick-on-Shannon, IRELAND - DEC 5, 2013
Bottle from Drinkstore, Dublin [051213]
Light orange, soft haze, thin white rim around glass, good colour in the glass
Aroma - Fresh soft tart apple, with some fresh apple sweetness
Taste - Fresh quite sweet apple, juicy apple, soft tart notes, just a tad tannic, light spice notes, tasty stuff.
Palate - Very soft spritzy carbonation, light body, refreshing soft sweet with a light tangy background, nice very soft acidity. Finish as main flavour, only slightly dry, superb palate.
Overall - Great cider, really good apple flavour and little of that dry tannic stuff in the finish. Really fresh and natural. So drinkable - shame I only have the 1 bottle

Bottle at home from drinkstore
Pours cloudy orange tinged yellow with gentle carbonation. Dusty apple lofts on the nose. Quite tannic and dry in the mouth with residual sweetness to prevent tartness. Slight wild barnyard character, rich braeburn apples. Long Appleskin finish.

Cloudy yellow pour, fizzy white head, vanishes almost instantly. Aroma: APPLES. Bursting with apples, slight cut grass, hint of a woodland stroll. Taste and mouthfeel: perfect balance between tart and sweet. Very refreshing. I would love to see this in the pubs one day. Superb cider.

ciaranc (800) - Dublin, IRELAND - JAN 11, 2013
750ml bottle from Celtic Whiskey, Dublin. A lovely cloudy bright gold in the glass. A big fizzy white head (!) which settles to a residue floating on top of the liquid. This looks fantastic. Pungent apple sourness in the aroma. A lovely balance of sweetness up front and dry sourness in the middle, with notes of appleseed and wood. Lush, smooth mouthfeel, coupled with understated, soft carbonation. Lines the mouth with delicious slick apple residue in the finish. This is an absolutely suberb cider.

garthicus (2658) - Dublin, IRELAND - DEC 3, 2012
Bottle. Appearance: light orange, super cloudy, almost milky with tremendous (and noisy!) carbonation. Aroma: mild yet perfectly pleasant fresh apples, a teeny bit woody, perry, sweet, smells wonderful. Flavour: Fresh apples, so refreshing, sweet with a tremendous carbonation bite, a wonderful cider. Just wonderful.

Beershine (5213) - The Sunshine State, Florida, USA - MAR 9, 2011
Bottle @ Ard Bia (great restaurant in Galway). Hazy golden yellow, light bubbles. Smells like a farmhouse after the harvest. Very lightly carbonated. Balanced acidic and sweet with excellent funk character. Long-lasting flavors. Juicy perry middle with lots of must and skins The slight carbonation makes the flavors come alive. Smoked and stewed apple character. This is incredibly good and worth seeking out! Wish I could drink more!

Oakes (12234) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 18, 2011
Bottle, Ard Bia, Galway. Cloudy brownish-tan. Slow sparkle. Lightly tannic, almost a light farmhouse accent and with a juicy balance. Earthy, juicy with minerals, straw, some tannins. Great character - complex, slightly austere but still refreshing. Light spice. I could drink a lot of this. It’s hard to come by good cider in Ireland, but this is one.

OleR (4786) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUL 29, 2010
Bottle shared by an anonymous Cider-hostile, Oslo-based RateBeerian. A ring of tiny grey bubbles atop of a clear, pale straw colored body. Quite fresh, natural apple aroma, with a touch of farmyard and freshly cut wood. Taste is medium sweet and has a clean apple flavor. A light acidity and some vague tart notes underneath. Medium to light in body weight. Farmyard notes in the ending. A likeable one.

larsga (6146) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUL 15, 2010
Small white froth covers half the glass. Pale yellow body. Apple and wood aroma with sugary sulphury notes. Sweetish sugary apple taste with wooden farmyard notes. Light body. Mealy mouthfeel. Dry-sweetish papery apple farmyard aftertaste. Decent. (0.33l bottle, from a source which cannot be named.)
