UPDATED: FEB 13, 2022 Pours a near black from a can. Why is no one else (hyperbole) noting the smokiness of the malts? This is a smoked malt stout, a nice hickory smoke aroma, smoky taste followed by some coffee, big roasty malts throughout. Pretty good beer.

UPDATED: NOV 16, 2021 Pours black with thick tan head. Flavor is coffee, roasted malt, and chocolate. Has an unexpected bitterness in the finish, which creates a very nice contrast with the full body. Really, the only thing it lacks for me is a good aroma.
