Bottled. Yellow to golden, clear and slightly sparkling beer. Thin white head with some lace. The aroma is mildly malty, toffy, slightly honeyish and it has lemony hops. A bit soapy. The aroma taste is quite malty and sweetish. Bitterish finish. Medium bodied, low carbonated and oily palate. A bit thin in the finish.

Bottled.Started off thinking this could be a top class ale.Lots of inviting aroma and a lovely golden appearance. For some reason this soon faded.Slightly bitter taste with that bottled condition acidity that I find so depressing. Nearly but not quite a very good ale.

Cask at the University Arms, Sheffield. Pours a clear gold with no head. Aroma is floral hops, a little citrus, and a touch of bready malt. Flavors are citrus, grassy, with some bready malt. Finished lightly dry.
