| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jan 29, 2010 Pours a nice golden orange colour with a medium frothy white head. The aroma is of fruits, citrus and some grassy hops. The taste is sweet and a little malty, but is also bitter towards the finish. It feels fairly smooth on the palate and also creates that warming alcohol feeling in the chest. Overall a good beer but not outstanding. Chalsk (63), North Caldwell, New Jersey, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Jan 27, 2010 Pours an orange, gold color with a thick head. Has a sweet bouquet. Medium body. The malt over powers the beer. Doesn’t balance well with the hops. Generous carbonation level. leaves a malty residue in the mouth. It grows on you, but generally not impressed. jesperhammer (387), Copenhagen, Denmark

Golden, white head.
Yeasty nose with oranges, spicey. Creamy, high carbonaiton. Fine tripel.

Had it side by side with Nøgne Ø, Tiger Tripel. This won the competition due to being more flavorfull and creamy. Wolfbass (115), Firenze, Italy
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 22, 2010 Golden-orange color, with frothy compact white head. Fruity intense aroma, where initially apple and pear are separately recognized. The candied sugar and the yeast make its appearance, just finished the fruity aromas. Fresh and pleasant aroma. In mouth it is mainly sweetish, with full body. The end is decidedly dry, long and good bitterish. William (187), Utrecht, Netherlands
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 22, 2010 One of the better tripels I have had. The alcohol is well hidden and it has a light finish. Had this one at Olivier in Utrecht. patrickfannon (423), Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, USA

Pours honey orange golden with a thick, lucious, creamy white head. Aroma of grapes, apple, pear, scotch, barley, vanilla, light malts, and slight notes of hops. Nose is quite sour at first, but opens up nicely. Full, yet oddly delicate body with a smarmy, boozy mouthfeel and a tight, crisp, slow finish. Outstanding tripel. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Jan 17, 2010 Pours a darker golden orange body that produced a thin head with some lacing. The taste was surpisingly sweet with a trace of hops. Medium body that went down smooth. For being high in alcohol it did not taste as such. Nice beer.
It’s slightly sweet with a touch of candy sugar, a touch of skunkiness, a little hops and a touch of alcohol esters in the nose. Medium bodied, dry and smooth. DeanF (384), Paris, France
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 16, 2010 Nice dark colour but not much head. Syrupy profile, lots of malts, could be softer. But for nine percent it’s quite easy to drink.
