Not quite as bitter as you might expect from the double hopped call, but it does have that little bit of metallic hop flavor. I also picked up something reminiscent of grape soda in the finish. Other than that, not much in the taste department. A beer to drink when you dont want to think about it. gnoff (3588), Göteborg, Sweden

Golden to amber color, white head. MAlty a bit fruity scent. Malty sweet taste. Medium bitterness. I was expecting more bitterness, more taste, darker color, well, just more I guess. thesimmos (13), Brisbane, Australia
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 1, 2008 It isnt really an exciting beer, for the price per case I would far prefer a box of James boags light or xxxx gold. But with that said if it is really cheap or something offered it isnt that bad that I wouldnt drink it.
It is like a cider water with a beer cordial added to it very lightly. I noticed someone else said it tastes almost metallic and I tend to agree.
When it says double hopped I am expecting something that would smell like a pilsner. Very deceitful. LoveABeer (141), Melbourne, Australia

Medium-pale gold, small white head. Faint malt aroma. Flavor is fairly mainstream lager, some hops bitterness, but not as crisp as a pilsner.
