Commercial Description:
Bottled, Pasteurised.
This dark golden coloured ale hugs the palate with great intensity. Its malty aroma is complemented by the gentle nose of Banana. Its flavour unfolds with a sensual sparkle and a smart crispness, which balances its aroma perfectly. Tropically fruity; its ripe banana flavour, emphasised by a hint of bitterness, comes from the addition of real fair trade bananas and finishes with an emphatic, steely dryness.

Basically the flavour and aroma of a banana milkshake with a beer twist. A very good beer.

Nice yellow-orange color. Strong aroma of banana bread. very crisp. some fruity banana flavor. I would have liked it to have more bread flavor.

Tasted from bottle. Pours a light amber, almost golden color with a white head that quickly dissipates. There are aromas of lightly toasted malts and (you guessed it) banana. There is also a little bit of a sour aroma. The slightly bitter bit hits up front and then quickly disappears. The banana flavor is strong, but doesn’t really taste like real banana. Something about this beer reminds me of circus peanuts candy for some reason. The finish is a bitter that I would not normally dislike, but it doesn’t match with the other flavors very well. The carbonation is very lively. This beer is interesting, but I would not describe it as good.

Provdatum: 2003-02-12 Banan går alltid hem denna smakar dock lite mer öl... För den riktiga Banan känsla go for Mongozo Banana YES! 20090707: flaska 8 grader, UTS: Nougat gyllen, lätt ljust skum. D: Humle, lätt banan S: Bitter banan smak (hm har tappat den äe friska banan smaken som jag vill påminna mig om fanns där en gång för länge sedan), Beska, ES: Lång men inte allt för påträngande Anteckningar:

Give you three guesses what this beer smells like. The aroma is the only good thing about this beer. The taste is of water logged bananas with a thin aftertaste.

Dark amber/cider color; Medium creamy body; Aroma of sweet malt, & ripe bananas; Flavor of malt, bananas, some caramel, and grain; Slightly bitter finish; The palate is a bit watery; Overall, a different and interesting brew - the aroma was the best part.

Not much good flavor here although there is some nose of the banaba. After that just an empty flavor profile.

Medium copper, quick dissolving head. Nose of banana candy, spice, light bread, little caramel. Banana carries to the mouth with light caramel, and spice, light vanilla. Watery, light carbonation, slightly bitter, semi sweet, crisp, clean. If this little shin dig was rich, thick, and had an abv of at least 8 then we could have a great beer!

Poured clear deep copper with a slight touch of orange. The head was white and left a ring around the glass and minimal lacing. Notes of yeast, malt, bread and ripened bananas. This is a light to light medium bodied ale with plenty fruit notes and a slight hint of nuts. It is everything the label says. Expectation meets reality.
