Handpump at the Madding Crowd in Oxford. The beer pours a med. auburn with a thin soapy head that dissipates. Med. body and med. CO2. The flavor is earthy with hazelnuts.. Huge caramel with a firm bitterness. A very distinct house character.

Flavours were malts, mild roastedness, toffee, hops, bisquit and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter.
