Ins Glas ergießt sich ein leicht trübes bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch nach Citrus, Blumen. Geschmack sehr malzig, fruchtig herb, leicht nach Kräutern.

Dunkelgoldene Farbe, weißer Schaum. Der Antrunk ist angenehm herb-würzig. Sehr schön frisch mit feiner Zitronenote, angenehm mild und herb-würzig zugelich. Sehr toll. Zum Hauptteil wird die herb-aromatische Note deutlicher, sehr schön frisch-aromatisch-herb, hinter dem Hopfen schaut eine milde Süße hervor, die schon fast harzartig-dickflüssig scheint. Der Nachgeschmack ist sehr lang, herb-aromatisch, mild-cremig und herb-würzig zugleich. Die 8,1% sind nicht zu schmecken! Leicht nussige Töne im Hopfen zu erschmecken. Dabei ganz leicht citronig-mild.
--> Eine tolle Idee einer konventionellen Brauerei! Sehr leckeres Bier! Sehr zu empfehlen!!!

750ml bottle. Aroma is apple, hops, light citrus. Appearance is cloudy orange with a light white head. Taste is bitter and light sweet. Has a soft carbonation, very dry mouth feel. Overall a bad IPA but a great hoppy beer.

Bottle. Golden, small and fully diminishing head. Moderate, malty and sweetish aroma, caramel, light notes of wood and light hoppyness. Body is medium, malty and sweetish flavor, caramel and light fruitiness, light hoppyness. Finish is average, malty and sweetish, some caramel, light hoppyness and light alcohol. IPA?

750ml bottle. Orangey golden colour with instantaneously fading remnants of what should have been a white head. Muggy malty aroma with a powerless hop note. Taste is also muggy, fusty with a hint of alcohol; in the second part the taste becomes even more flat and boring. Not in the right ballpark.

(bottle, 75cl) Clear, golden colour with a loose medium-sized foamy white head. Buttery and slightly biscuity malty aroma with grassy and slightly woody hops. Quite sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a moderate carbonation. Buttery cara-malty taste with grassy, herbal and mildly woody hops, very restrained fruit-character; sweet and slightly bitter hoppy finish with biscuity malt and a touch of alcohol. Tastes like a stronger and very expensive Bohemian Pilsener. 16.V.12

Geschmacklich ist der hopfen Fluch natürlich sehr hopfig, aber auch etwas süßlich-harzig. Die Konsistenz ist etwas dickflüssiger als bei einem "deutschen Durchschnittsbier". Im Nachgeschmack bleibt der starke hopfen Geschmack noch einige Zeit auf der Zunge. Fazit: Ein tolles Bier, das aber durch die Intensive an Hopfen schon eine Herrausvorderung ist. Etwas enttäuschender milder zitronig-grasiger Geruch, der auch einem Hellen entstammen könnte. Startet ebenfalls zitronig-grasig. Mitte schärfer, Grapefruit, staubig-trocken mit etwas Pflaume und Alkohol. Abrupt etwas zitronig und fast ohne Abgang endet das Bier, von dem man mehr erwartet hätte.

Bottle: Deep golden, white loose head with a shy lace, grassy hoppy and buttery-bisquity nose; moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied, quite soft; lingering hoppy and bisquity finish. Failure; not an IPA , but an average and very expensive Heller Bock…
