COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
I have crafted the 2010 Vintage with the highest quality Tipple malted barley for the second year running. This ale’s main hop character is derived from traditional Golding and Fuggles hops and further enhanced with Dry Hopping, using a blend of the choicest Golding and Target hops. Coupled with the unique Fuller’s yeast strain we expect this beer to mature into another ’Classic’ Vintage! 125,000 bottles produced

UPDATED: APR 11, 2024 500ml bottle from Fullers Brewery, Chiswick, London. An amber/brown coloured pour with a thinnish off white head on top. Sweetish aroma of caramel, booze and a little dark fruit. Tastes similar, sweet, caramel, marmalade. Probably past its best but it has held up rather well after 14 years.

Cheeseboard (5363) - Somerset, ENGLAND - DEC 21, 2023
UPDATED: DEC 21, 2023 The 7th of the 12 Vintage Ales of Christmas box from Fullers. I'm working backwards from new to old. Pours unclear ruby chestnut with a fine beige foam. Aroma: malty, caramel, toffee, molasses, dried fruits. Taste: towards moderate sweet & light to moderate bitter, sweet malts, raisins, caramel, toffee, fruit cake. Medium body with fine carbonation, towards dry on the palate. The merest hint of oxidisation, otherwise it's held up well.

UPDATED: MAR 20, 2022 Opened in 2022. Dark brown. A little haze. Aroma and flavour are very jammy. Lots of raisins. Subtle malt sweetness. Very light, drying bitterness in the finish. Like a sweet Oloroso sherry.

Bottle from my cellar, No. 008425. Great fruity deep alcoholic nose. The beer starts caramelly intense fruity. Oxidated, round and fresh. This is not too deep, yellow fruits there, round and intense. Great!
