Fall/Winter 2012 Bottling
From notes. Tasted on 12/12/12 from a capped 500mL bottle with Curtis, and the Nashville crew. Pours dark brown with a bit of red velvet tint, and a thin tan head that leaves very thin lace. The nose is dark and roasted with toasted cocoa nibs, coffee, dark chocolate, and plenty of vanilla. The flavor is quite dry and bitter with loads of natural vanilla, and all of the same bitter dark, roasted and toasted notes, and just a touch of spicy cinnamon poking through. The body is full with just lighter than average carbonation and a long roasted bitter coffee and vanilla finish.
