UPDATED: OCT 4, 2020 A 500ml bottle from my trip to Copenhagen a few years ago & cellared since. Pours jet black with a beige foamy head. Aromas & tastes of thick creamy coffee, dark chocolate, plums, toffee, roasted malt, slightly roasted sesame seeds & liquorice. Medium body. Warm slightly alcoholic bitter finish. Excellent imperial porter

UPDATED: OCT 11, 2019 Wersja leżakowana 5 lat. Piana drobna, beżowa, niezbyt wysoka. W aromacie dużo mlecznej czekolady, wanilia od leżakowania, ciutka suszonych owoców. Intensywnie, przyjemnie. W smaku aż tak dobrze nie jest, jest lekka słodycz, jest odrobina kwasowości, całość przyjemnie gładka w odczuciu. Niskie wysycenie, lekkie grzanie od alko na finiszu obecne wraz z subtelnym palonym akcentem. Fajnie ułożony portek.

Bottle from Vinmonopolet Tønsberg. Pours almost black.small, brown head. Roasted coffee, nuts, fruit, dried figs, some berries, very slight herbal bitterness. Leather. Medium carbonation and body. Not bad at all.

UPDATED: APR 25, 2018 Bottle 50 cl. Black with a light brown head. Aroma of chocolate, dried fruit and roasted malt. Sweet, light bitter with a good chocolate, licorice and roasted end. Semi CL, Bayern M - Real M. Go Mùnchen..

Aroma of buckwheat honey with molasses, some plum and liquorice. Deep black in the glass with a quickly dissapering head. Taste is semi sweet with tough notes of melanoidins, some breadcrust, heavy load of plums, minimal note of honey sweetness, some liquorice and chocolate to roasty hints with caramelly back. Complex, it really reminds me a Baltic Porter. Overally good, but in the long run minimally bland.

UPDATED: JUL 6, 2017 Słabo wyczuwalny zapach, nieco drewniany. Piwo czarne, nieprzezroczyste z piękną beżową pianą. W smaku kawa, posmak mocnej, gorzkiej czekolady.

Black color, creamy tan head. Aroma has brownies with some sweet syrupy malt and a hint of spice. Taste has sweet, roasty malt, some chocolate cake, roasty bitterness on the finish with lingering burnt malt flavor. Medium plus body, smooth mouthfeel. Overall a really enjoyable porter.

Aroma; dark liquorice malts, figs, dates, nuts, prunes. Look; yellow’beige head, porter black body. Taste; roasted malts, black sugar, prune, nut, liquorice a lot, star anise, dates, plum peel - long dark malted finish. Feel; good body, some co2. Overall; merry christmas eve. Very smooth and balanced. Roasted malts, some coffe, maybe a little toffee. Fairly low carbo.
