Rerate: I remembered this stuff being decent and likeing it, but I had a pint at a Mexican Restaurant last week and its just not good once you develop a beer palate. Coppery orange color, with white head that fades fast. Aroma is pretty sour with slight citrus, and slight carmel malt. Not too much offered in the way of hops. Flavors match aroma with a finish that is really sub bar and a little sweet. thin.

(12 ounce bottle - pint glass) Pours an transparent almond color with biege head. Leaves a thin streaky lace. Aroma consists of nuts and toast malt, maybe even some caramel malt. Has a light grassy hop character also in the nose. Taste is a little sour which I like. Has notes of nuts, toast and a little caramel. Light body and thin oily texture. Has a average carbonation and a long metallic bitter finish.

On tap at Lion and Rose. Deep amber/copper body with a bit of off-white head. Lightly floral and some sweetness on the nose. Taste is lightly sweet, earthy, grassy and mildly bitter. Short, bitter finish. Fine carbonation with a smooth mouthfeel.

This is one of those beers that tastes different depending on which tap I drink it from. For the most part it has a mild malty flavor with a clean edge aftertaste. Not bad for a corporate beer.

Not a bad looking ESB. 12 oz. bottle from Publix. Fluffy head lasted for a few minutes, and then faded away to a relatively thin head. Copper transparent appearance. Slight nuttiness shows up in the aroma. Sweet caramel malts are present as well. Lacks the hop profile I was looking for. Boring flavor. Slight nutty flavor, along with some sweet toasted malts and caramel. Slight bitterness towards the end, but nothing substantial. Too damn drinkable; knocked off five of these fuckers after imbibing two 22 oz. 10% ABV beers.

This is a decent beer but definitely not one of my favorites. Does not finish very smooth and the taste is a bit off for my liking.

Deep orange with a white head. Aroma was sweet floral notes, bread, and malt. Flavor was crisp malt with some bread and floral hop notes. Good malty mouth feel with a slightly bitter finish.

568 ml bottle from Whole Foods Market, Charlottesville, VA. Pours a clear amber color with a large frothy head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of caramel, floral hops and a faint nuttiness. Taste is green apple, caramel, floral and leafy hop notes. Medium bodied.
