Bottled 33cl (vintage 2010, BB 03/2011)
Hazy brown-amber color, steady small creamy, some lace. Aroma of caramel, ginger and some other Christmasy spices. Light, a bit watery body. Flavor is similar to aroma: caramel, low bitterness but spicey (cinnamon,. ginger). Otherwise quite good but needs perhaps a bit more maltyness.

Bottled (thanks Bov!). Deep amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is ginger, cinnamon and some mild toffeeish notes. Flavour is ginger, toffee, sweet malts. Surprisingly pleasant.

Bottled 33cl. Courtesy of Philipp Sigg and Thomas Schneider. Very strong reminiscence of spices in the nose. Medium bodied. Really strong ginger components throughout. A beer with plenty of character. Nice.

from the brewery - cloudy brown colour with no foam left; a solid aroma of cinnamon, candi sugar and other spices i cannot identify; a moderate carbonation and a medium malt backbone; more evident presence of cinnamon along with pepper and ginger in the finish - a one-dimensional Xmas-bomb!
