UPDATED: AUG 4, 2022 Geel bier met schuim. Smaak is fris fruitig en zoet met wel duidelijk iets van appel. Jammer dat die smaak iets te overheersend en te zoet is. Ondanks dat, ik heb in het verleden veel slechtere fruit bieren gehad.

UPDATED: JUL 22, 2020 Initially sweet, but thankfully the sharpness of the apples does come through. It’s not unpleasant but if you like a spiced apple drink - but you can get the same effect from any even slightly drinkable major brand chilled cider. I’m drinking it on a lovely sunny day and it came as part of a beer club, and duff notes are bound to happen - so I’m not unhappy with it, but I’m not likely to buy it again.

UPDATED: APR 25, 2019 Auch ein Apfelbier kannte ich bis zu diesem Bier hin nicht. Es wirkt ordentlich nach Apfelringen mit deutlicher Säure. Aber das hefige Hintergrundbier bleibt doch erhalten. Ich finde es nicht so übel -aber ich esse auch gerne Apfelringe.

This apple beer pours a hazy, golden body with half an inch of white head that settles to a bubbly ring, leaving a few rings of lacing on the glass. The nose is pretty much just spiced apple pie and yeah, that's it. Taking a sip, it tastes like spiced apple pie too, with a background flavor that tastes like the bottom crust. It's fairly sweet and somewhat sugary, but there's a touch of tartness to at least help provide some contrast, but in the end, this is just drinking apple sauce. The beer is medium bodied, though sugar certainly adds to the perception of weight, and carbonation is medium. Overall, this is very simple and one-dimensional, but I suppose it's fun for what it is.

UPDATED: JAN 18, 2019 Robe jaune pâle avec de légères teintes vert pomme. Un nez de bonbon acidulé à la pomme le goût en est de même. Une bière que peuvent aimer les amateurs de bière ainsi que des gens n'y étant pas initiés.

Fles thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een gelig bier met een wit schuim. De geur is erg zoet en appel achtig. De smaak is alsof ze bier en appelsap gemixt hebben. Erg zoet en kunstmatig.
