Originally a collaboration with Pizza Port Ocean Beach.

Double IPA with Tangerine & Blood Oranges and Maui cane sugar. The deep red hue is a result of the blood orange juice and specialty malts. The unique hop profile is made up of Azacca, El Dorado and Sorachi Ace. This beer is delightfully bitter and aromatic with noes of tropical fruit and, of course, orange.

Nice crisp amber and copper body with a nice two centimetre tall tan head. Aroma oranges, citrus, grapefruit and a bit of alcohol/metal. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong rich citrus and pefumey flavour with a lot of alcohol and warmth, showing grass, metal and bitterness from both the fruit and the hops. Aftertaste shows a lot of metal, hops, earth, alcohol and a ton of bitter citrus fruit as well. Overall, a nice and rich beer full of hops, citrus, pine, alcohol and yes - citrus. Nice to try and well worth finding if you like citrus and IPAs! I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Total Wine in Manassas, Virginia on 28-March-2015 for US$3,79 sampled at home in Washington on 06-August-2016 a day before leaving back for Hawaii!

Can@ trailer. Clear dark amber color with ivory foam, and lots of floaties. Nice ripe orange, tangerine, citrusy, melon fruit, spicy aromas. Medium bodied. Tangy, unsweetened grapefruit flavors with herbal, spicy hoppage, and a lightly sweet pale maltage to balance---tasty tropical IPA.

Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Cloudy deep golden. Aroma of kinda stale hops, some citrus, some candy-ish malt, and a soapy note. Sweet malty flavor with caramel, a honey note, biter stale hops, and nice citrus. Medium-bodied.

12 oz can. From a grocery store in Honolulu, HI.
Hazy amber color with a small off-white head. Fruity hops, tropical fruits, mild grapefruit and mild bitterness in the aroma. The flavor is amazingly balanced... strong tropical fruity and grapefruity hops, moderate bitterness, sweetness and caramel maltiness. Very nice.

Can:   Amberish, a bit fiery, little head and leacing, off-white.   Citrusy based aroma, moderately hopped.   Has a Tang drink like citrusy sweetness along with that citrus bitterness on the tongue.   While not artificial, it has that good tasting but artificial sweetness tinge to it.   Moderate to full body and mouthfeel.   Despite the artificial like sweetness, with the citrus bitterness, I still enjoyed this.   Fairly straight forward and easy to drink.

Can - cloudy dark orange with a small head. More maltier than I ever thought it would be. The hops seem more piney than anything else. One is enough.

CAN. Pours a muddy orange with tinge of brown with small off white head.. The tangerine/orange/mandarin is big and sweet with malt on the nose.. Sweet fruity hops, the t/o/m not as present in the taste with the blood orange bitterness dominates the back end and lingers for a while.. Sourced RW

Can. Brownish orange in colour with A LOT of floaties and medium carbonation. Aromas are of pale malt, sweet orange, and a bit of pine resin. Fresh orange comes through much stronger on the palate, with the pale malt backing off a bit. Notes of melon and dried leaves are present in the background. Medium bodied with a solid bitterness. Still a bit on the heavy side for me, but the blood orange is an interesting addition. Would be curious to see what such an addition would do to their regular strength IPA.
