Originally a collaboration with Pizza Port Ocean Beach.

Double IPA with Tangerine & Blood Oranges and Maui cane sugar. The deep red hue is a result of the blood orange juice and specialty malts. The unique hop profile is made up of Azacca, El Dorado and Sorachi Ace. This beer is delightfully bitter and aromatic with noes of tropical fruit and, of course, orange.

A sediment ridden reddish/orange/brown. Aromas of blood orange and onions. Interesting. Flavours are vegetal hops... That onion thing again. Picking up the blood orange too. Interesting... And good.

Kind of an ugly brown/amber body with sediment and off-white frothy head and lacing. Citrus aroma, oranges, a touch of resin. Taste is again citrus, maybe even some pineapple, semi-bitter, juicy fruit, grapefruit pith. Nice beer.

Can. Amber with a modest white head. A few floaties. Easy to believe there’s actual citrus juice and zest as well as hops in there from the aroma, but there’s some bread and herbal notes as well. Lots of grapefruit and blood orange with a real pithiness to it. Light bread, slight toast, herbal or leafy lemon, menthol. Bitterness is strong: enough to stop it seeming fruit saladish. Maybe edging up on harsh but that’s probably where it needs to be. Fun to drink, slips down dangerously easily.

[7105-20150304] Tap. Slightly smoked fruit aroma. Clear, orange body with a quick foamy white head. Grainy toasted fruit peel flavour. Medium body. Good, slightly creamy. (7/3/8/3/15) 3.6

Great blood orange and tangerine aroma. The taste does not have enough of the orange, it's more of an orange zest flavor. Still a good IPA, just did not match the aroma. Very solid offering from Maui Brewing Co. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

ENG: 355ml can from Liquor Mart in Winnipeg, poured into the IPA glass. Dark-orange to copper color with some residues from oranges probably. Medium but dissipating, tan head. Strong tropical aromas with great hoppy notes. Tastes also tropical, oranges with a bit spicy hoppy character. Some additional floral notes. Tarty bitter aftertaste. Medium carbonation, medium body. Overall very interesting beer with hints of blood oranges. Smells like Hawaii! Taste (and aftertaste) is a bit tarty and bitter a little bit too settling, but still tastes great!

PL: Puszka 355ml kupiona w Liquor Mart w Winnipeg, przelana do IPA glass. Barwa ciemno-pomarańczowa wpadająca w miedzianą, sporo osadu, najprawdopodobniej z dodanych czerwonych pomarańczy. Piana jasna, średnia, lecz szybko opadająca. Mocne, tropikalne aromaty z świetnymi nutami chmielowymi. W smaku również tropiki, pomarańcze i nieco ostry, chmielowy charakter. Gdzieś w tle nieco kwiatów. W posmaku cierpka goryczka. Średnie nasycenie, średnie odczucie w ustach. Podsumowując bardzo interesujące piwo z dodatkiem czerwonych pomarańczy. Pachnie Hawajami! W smaku (i posmaku) może nieco cierpkie a goryczka lekko zalegająca, ale mimo wszystko smakuje świetnie!

Can. Blood orange pour with what appears to be a lot of pulp floating throughout. Aroma is tropical fruit, blood orange, very fresh and juicy with a bit of a sugary note. Flavour is blood orange, a tart fruity flavour, with citrus zest and a slight sugary note. An intriguing malt and hop profile, but perhaps a little too much fruit additions to let it shine. Very interesting and tasty, but the blood orange is a little much.

Poured from 355mL can. Dark orangey brown with off-white head, tiny bit of sediment. Bread malt, bitter citrus from the blood orange, mild resin. It is what it is.

Can, cloudy orange Amber beer, decent cream colored head faded to a skiff. Aroma is juicy citrus and mango. Taste is pale malt, fresh squeezed orange juice, some spruce and citrus rind. Palate is rich and smooth, this reminds me of oatmeal stout. Finish is dry and bitter. This is pretty good, but the taste doesn’t deliver what the nose promised.

Ale Alpharetta. Grapefruit, orange, high level of bitterness that gets amped up by the citrus fruit. Very light malts. Ok, but just didn’t resonate completely with me.
