UPDATED: JUL 24, 2020 Bottle that I can't remember where bought some years ago. Served at home in a snifter glass. Black colour with some brown reddish notes, no head and no lacing. Aroma is boozy, coffee, chocolate, raisins, molasses, vanilla, leather, cognac. Full body, dense sticky and creamy texture,sweet spicy finish. No carbonation. Taste of chocolate, raisins, molasses, cognag, some coffee, vanilla, pepper, Pedro Ximénez. Delicious, fantastic.

UPDATED: NOV 7, 2019 330ml bottle. Jet black colour with late awakening, small, creamy, half way lasting, moderately lacing, tan head. Roasty, chocolately, dark malty, and sweet-ish, caramel malty aroma, notes of dark chocolate, caramel, leather, a touch of peat, a spicy yeasty touch of marmite, some treacle, bourbon, vanilla. Taste is slightly dry, roasty, chocolately dark malty, sweet-ish caramel malty, minimally smoky and peaty, notes of caramel, dark caramel, burnt caramel, treacle, molasses, dark chocolate, hints of bourbon, vanilla, peat, whiffs of alcohol, a touch of butterscotch, honey, a spicy yeasty touch of marmite. Full body, oily texture, smooth and soft, slightly cloying palate, fine, still efficacious carbonation. Rich, very complex, really packs a punch; should be an excellent dessert in combination with vanilla ice.
