Loved the chocolately flavor and how smooth this one was. Favorite Beer to date

Bottle 500ml. Very dark (almost black) color with a thick creamy head. Smells malty and like chocolate. The chocolate taste is very dominating, but not as sweet as I thought it would be (when expecting chocolate taste), rather like bitter chocolate with some roasted coffee and dark caramel. Very creamy mouthfeel and almost no aftertaste. Surprisingly good, but nothing I could drink all night.

Dark brown/black color; Medium to heavy creamy body; Aroma of sweet malt, chocolate, and almonds; Flavor of roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, and coffee; Nicely balanced, and the chocolate aspect was not overdone; A really good stout.

0.5 l bottle. Non-transparent blck colour, small beige coloured head, soft carbonation. Roasty and chocolate-kinded nose, the start’s moderate sharp. Sweet and bitterchocolated flavour, aroma of roasted malt and yeast. The finish is chocolatebitter, light alcoholy and kinda dry. It has a medium body and a slick/sticky texture. A nice stout for dessert.

Pours pitch black with a thick and light brown head. It has an aroma of smoked malt, perhaps slightly like unscented pipe tobacco. Flavour is rich dark chocolate slightly acidic and lightly bitter in the finish. Soft and creamy palate. Very drinkable and tasty. A very good stout.

Bottle. It’s dark brown black with a thick, one inch creamy head and lines of lace. There is pipe tobacco in the aroma, some more faint wood, smoke, lactose, cocoa. Mouthfeel is full and thick . There is more of the tobacco in the flavour with dark cherry, smoke, grassy hops, dark chocolate. The finish is long and dry.

Bottle. Very light aroma of hay-ish malt. Pours jet-black with a thin tan head that dissipates quickly. Body is rich and robust and initial taste is of chocolatey sweetness (a little too sweet for my taste), but finish is dry with a very distant hop bitter. This beer fits the "chocolate" bill with both look and taste, but it’s a little bit too sweet and candy tasting for my liking. Otherwise, a very solid stout. Best part about it is the robust body and mouthfeel.

Bottle from Somewhere. Smells like brownies. Not so chocolate-y tasting, despite the "chocolate flavor" added. Bits of bitterness poke through, though it mostly tastes like an over-carbonated, not-well-malted stout. Finishes very watery.
