bottle. Pours a clear medium amber/deep orange with a fluffy diminishing white head and some thin lace. Aroma is moslty fresh apricots, some light peach, with some very light herbal hops, and some citrus but the apricots dominate the aroma. Flavor is sweet medium caramelized malts, then a bit of metallic hops- maybe cascade- some lime hints, and in the middle to end is the apricot/peachiness, with a light bitter finish, but has a light astringency as well. A bit slick and astringent from the harsh filtration, but I bought this because I saw it was fresh and still packed in the case, so I knew it would at least be at its peak. Decent spring beer.

very strong beer. strong in the sense that the apricot flavors are strong and the hops don’t seem muted either. another great seasonal from dogfish head.

12oz local bottle. Pours a clear bronze colour with a small off-white head. No lacing. The aroma really is like you blended an IPA with apricot pulp. Gentle but nice. The flavour definitely leans towards the IPA side. Finish lingers with some NW hop bitterness. Only get a little fruit right up front.

draft at redlight redlight. pours a orange/amber with nice white legs. the nose is mostly hoppy, pretty good, just a slight apricot hint. hops are grassy and piny. the apricot comes out more in the flavor, which is still very bitter despite the slight fruity sweetness. very well balanced. always a good time of year when this one comes back.

Tap at Rattle n’ Hum. Muddy orange pour. Aroma is predominantly pine with a bit of caramel malt. A somewhat weak nose. Tastes of pine, apricot, and caramel. There’s a touch of tropical fruit punch at the tail end. Pine hop finish with a light body. Pleasant but simplistic.

Definitely fruity, but still holds true to the IPA standards. Has a dry, but yet fruity taste to it, that starts off with the apricots, but finishes with that hoppy, earthy taste to it. I always look forward to tasting this one when it’s released.

Bottle- Purchased @ Hercules Liquor, Pueblo, CO. Pours a somewhat deep copper/amber. Good amount of head, that lasts for a bit before backing off. Aroma is of a sweet apricot smell, with hops standing behind it. Mouthfeel is nice, medium bodied, little bit of stickiness(which is good). Flavour is pretty great, strong IPA characteristics, followed by the apricot backing. Slightly sweet. Finishes with hops and alcohol presence. Not overpowering though. Definitely balanced, and definitely a dogfish head offering. Very well made. I would recommend to anyone who likes IPA’s as well as fruity notes. Cheers!
