Commercial Description:
Troegs Sunshine Pils is hand-crafted in our small brewery using only malted barley, noble hops and bottom-fermenting yeast. This pilsner delivers a refreshing hop bitterness and a zesty, vibrant finish.

Quickly becoming my favorite PA pilsener. Very deceptive light golden color with stark white foam, nice grassy Saazy aromas. Flavor is quick and simple, dry with some grassy bitterness. Not as complex as many other things out there, but damn if it doesn’t make me smile every summer.

Definately not a fan. Draft at the Coney tonight. Granted, I had this after two Troegs Hopbacks, but it definately didn’t do anything for me. A gold color with a loose, foamy head. Very bitter and skunky. No real hop flavor to tie anything together. Pretty malty.

Bottle. Pours clear gold, white head. Aroma is hops and wheat. Flavor is wheat, caramel, hops, slight spiciness. A very crisp and refreshing beer.

Pours like a pale lager, but with some lacing. Aroma of grassy hops, and sweet grain. Flavor is the same as the aroma. Medium, semi-sweet, slightly bitter palate

Draft @ Friscos Grille in Columbia, Md. Pours a straw color with small, lively head. The Noble hops were tasty in this one and there was a slight almost cookie like aroma from the pale malt. Not bad.

Bottle. Aroma is kind of grainy with light malt. The malt presence is slightly sweet and the bittering hops bring out the classic pilsener flavor of this beer.

Aroma is very hoppy for a Pilsner. A little hint of citrusy sorta tones. The taste is very hoppy for a Pilsner, but not as hoppy as 60 Winks or Prima Pils. Overall, its a good pilsner.
