alexsdad06 (17935) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 23, 201712 oz bottle from a 4 pack rated from notes. Pours a clear dark golden color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have sweet malts, caramel, pale toasted malts, earthy, citrus and resiny hops, orange zest, carries the abv nicely, good.
JPDIPSO (6618) - Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 28, 2015Lightly hazed golden color with a taller light beige color. Big ruby red grapefruit aromas. Just a hint of light caramel. Starts with sweet caramel and citrus, much like a grapefruit topped with sugar and broiled. Soft, yet fair full and silky in feel. Very smooth and easy to drink for a hop monster. If anything a bit sweet. 1/11
sitzds (318) - - OCT 2, 201412oz bottle poured into shaker pint and shared with Tim at the condo. Amber orange body with a bone colored head. Good lacing. Aroma is boozy, with bread and caramel malt backed by citrus and tropical fruit. Taste is bitter citrus peel and pine with sugary sweetness. Medium-full body, oily texture, average-plus carbonation, boozy dry finish.
beer_advocate (13) - - SEP 27, 2014Picked up a four pack at the brewery earlier in the week. Very smooth for an imperial IPA. If your in Wisconsin this is a must have.
BiiruBierBeer (1100) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - SEP 20, 2014UPDATED: JUN 25, 2015 Tropical citrusy hop smell. Taste is the same wth emphasis on the hops. Medium to high carbonation.
slowrunner77 (19964) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 12, 2014"Tropical fruit and candied grapefruit abound. Pretty bitter, but not overly so with some earthiness and pine and lots of sweetness. Full bodied. Now I’m confused. I thought unplugged beers were a thing of the past, and thumbprint was in the now, but this was fresh. Thanks to Heybeerman for the trade. I think this is the best iPa or pale I’ve had from them."
john_henry (170) - - SEP 5, 2014Great IPA, but not the best I’ve had. Certainly better than anything I had at New Glarus when I visited the brewery, but don’t get too excited for this.
drsandman (2191) - New York, New York, USA - JUL 22, 2014Bottle thanks to Duke, a bit aged. Pours a clear gold / light orange, light off white head. Aroma is fresh honey, dandelion, flowers, pine hop resin, bready malt, clementine. Flavor is sweet malt & floral / pine hop mix, finishes with gooey sweet honey pine hop. Med gooey mouthfeel, med sweet, nice carbonation.
TXBadger (2811) - Dallas, Texas, USA - APR 24, 2014Reviewed from notes: Pine and citrus on the aroma, poured a nice golden color with white head. Light on the palate with piney grass and citrusy notes. Finishes almost sweet.
Bacterial (3140) - Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA - FEB 1, 2014Bottle that I forgot about in my fridge for a while. Surprisingly still enjoyable! Clear amber pour, lots of white head. Nice hop nose, though perhaps a touch stale. Quite drinkable, dry finish - nice bitterness as well.
