COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Grand Cru is a speciality beer carefully crafted by Belgium’s St Feuillien Brewery. This extra-blond amber nectar masterpiece undergoes refermentation in the bottle, resulting in a beer endowed with unforgettable character. The secret lies in the unique combination of the most noble hops and the finest aromatic ingredients. Grand Cru differs from other beers in the range by its absence of spices. Its full, white head is light and frothy, and when poured it creates a subtle lace effect. The very pale colour of Grand Cru lends clarity and brilliance to its body.
Grand Cru’s delicate nose is a veritable cascade of hoppy aromas with hints of fruitiness coupled with subtlety and sheer richness.
When savoured, the first sip is light and intriguing. The next impression is one of a slight bitterness full of captivating nuances. When it hits the palate, Grand Cru creates a lingering moment of hoppiness, rounded off by an intense yet pleasant bitterness.

17Beer (1865) - Weston, Connecticut, USA - APR 4, 2024
UPDATED: APR 4, 2024 11.2 oz bottle. Pours a cloudy bright gold with a pillowy white head. Dry hops smells. Yeasty sharp tastes of light lacquer and sharp hops, leather and some dank farmyard. Very balanced and delicious.

pictoman (7317) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 21, 2024
UPDATED: MAR 21, 2024 Poured from 330mL bottle (bb 20/08/24). Clear blonde with full white head. Chewy belgian yeast, some light pepper, very feint metallic quality in the background (mostly covered by the huge bready chew of the yeast), hops are pretty hidden at this point (just feint bit on the finish). Decent.

Inoven (3205) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - FEB 28, 2024

UPDATED: DEC 27, 2023 0,3 cl bottle. Nice beer, but this one won't become a regular in my fridge.

Pyobon (2827) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - OCT 29, 2023
UPDATED: OCT 29, 2023 (Bottle) Pours slightly hazy golden with big white head. Nice aroma with a mix of pear drop esters, peppery spice and hints of caramel. Medium bodied with plenty of bright carbonation. Nice taste too. Starts with some honey and caramel sweetness and a peppery bitterness swiftly develops. There’s some alcohol and pear drops apparently too. Very enjoyable.

Psytron (6673) - Turku, FINLAND - MAY 16, 2023

imdownthepub (26023) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - MAY 13, 2023
UPDATED: MAY 13, 2023 Bottled, 330ml at the Bier Huis Grand Cafe, St. Ives, Cornwall. Hazy yellow gold with white head. This is a particularly yeasty, boozy light Belgian Ale, saison type notes with pear drops and esters. Leafy hops float in and out becoming more bitter through the beer. It's a decent beer.
