sebletitje (11868) - Bruxelles, BELGIUM - JUN 7, 201033cl bottle from Au Grain d’Orge, Switzerland.
lot# LG073
Pours golden, fizzy sparly and quickly disappearing white head.
aroma of honey sweetness, lots of blossom, possibly some esters, some bready malts peeking through, floral and tangy.
flavors, lots of nice lingering honey meshed with some dark sugar and a light yeasty mouthfeel, some notes of caramel malts, hops add a mild bitterness to the finish. Overall the beer is sweet and I really enjoyed how the honey blends with all other ingredients, especially the sugar that directly follows every touch of the honey.
yespr (55595) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - SEP 18, 200933 cL bottle, courtesy of Bov. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is phenolic, light yeasty and orange to citrus fruity. Jukkabro (3484) - Tampere, FINLAND - DEC 12, 2006Dark yellow colored, hazy appearance. Medium sized white head. Big parts of yeast in the bottom of the glass. Aroma is weird with sweet and sour touch, some vinegar also with lemony touch. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor is also weird with this same vinegar and glue tones, sweet and bitter lemon also there. Aftertaste lasts with sour lemon and some yeast.
TBone (27085) - Pori, FINLAND - DEC 10, 2006Bottled.
Hazy yellow, steady cloudy white head. Very witbier-like outlook. Sweet strawberry aroma, slightly sour. Very sour, Vuuve-like beer. Almost like drinking some kind of lambic. Very difficult beer to rate, it has lemony sourness with fruity background.
oh6gdx (44945) - Vasa, FINLAND - DEC 10, 2006Bottled (thanks Bov!). Hazy yellow colour, small white head. Sour fruits and cinegar in nose. Flavour is super bitter and sour fruits. Quite unpleasantly balanced. Quite artifical fruity notes (atleast when it comes to the lemon).
