Commercial Description:
The success of HOG HEAVEN and THE REVEREND clearly demonstrates that beer drinkers are willing to embrace "BIGGER" beers. In the fall of 2001, we decided that a lighter BIG BEER would complement its darker colored predecessors. Salvation has luscious apricot and peach aromas delicately interwoven with spicy suggestions of nutmeg and cinnamon. This heavenly soft, champagne-like elixir is cellarable for 3 years.

A pale straw gold color attached to a thinly sized layer of head. The nose is both spicey and fruity with a apricot like aroma. First sip caught me off guard and had my face going sour even though its not a sour beer. It’s an interesting flavor made up of what i would think is a domestic form of yeast, sweet malt, and bitter hops. There is a little reminder of the spice from the aroma given off in the drink, but it’s lurking deep behind the unripe apricot.

Aroma is quite fresh and fruity with notes of tangerine, peach and something very similar to apricot....also a hint of spiciness and a subtle malt undertone. Flavor is fruity and spicy, with some clove, nutmeg and cinnamon. Body is quite carbonated which leads to a refreshing finish.

Bottle. Pours golden with white head. Taste is candy sugar with some bubblegum, spice, and carbonation. Closer to champagne than a trippel

Bomber. Clear straw golden with voluptuous white head. Aroma has lots of spices - coriander, nutmeg, light cinnamon - also hay, booze, caramel, light bubblegum. Taste is sweet caramel with spices, ending in a bitter boozy blast.

Golden amber. Light orangish-yellow head. Lovely lacing. Caramel-syrupy malt.. Candy-covered-fruit notes. Very slight nuttiness. Very good; not my exact taste, but very good.

Bomber. Surprisingly good. I liked it. Pours lightly hazy golden with a medium sized white head and good lace. Smells bready and sweet with some yeast and fruit. Tastes of sweet cereal malts and bread with spices, maybe cinnamon and clove. A hint of fruit and a good dose of alcohol. Medium body, good carbonation.

Dead serious - the aroma of this stuff is urine. Flavor, however, is decent. A bit saltier than usual Belgian Goldens. Lots of floral hops balanced with kandi sugar. Finishes clean, but not clear.
