on tap-pours a thin white head. Color is clear yellow. Aroma mild grain. Taste is grain and a Corona like ingredient, but better. Good carbonation. A good lager, which they tend to be middle of the road.

A nice, clean Belgian lager. I’m not a huge light lager fan, but this is eminently drinkable.

Mainstream European pale lager that does a better job than its American equivalents. Not as much hop character as some of its neighbours, but I like it nonetheless.

From my tasting notes at an "earlier" date. On tap @ Old Chicago. I remember the bartender was pretty excited to sell me this Belgian style beer, and then I tasted it and thought "pilsener," and he said, "No it’s a Belgian style," and then I realized in most establishments people like us will know a buttload more than people trying to sell us stuff. Poured a clear golden with a creamy moderate white head--in the proper Stella glass. The aroma was grassy and grainy, though cannot fully be rated due to dumbass smokers around me (I gave it a bonus point for that--it isn’t the beer’s fault). Flavor is of Saaz, cereal grain, some sweetness in there with a moderately bitter biscuity finish. Sharp carbonation, light in body.

This beer is decent if you are forced to drink an import. Still really bitter as most European beers are but after a couple you’ll start not to notice it so much.

I admit it. I like Stella Artois. There is almost nothing better on a hot, muggy New York day than to be greeted with a proper glass of ice-cold Stella. Beautiful clear gold.

nice golden color. Slight skunky aroma. Taste was a little grainy with malt and citric flavor. Finished with a bit of dry hoppy flavor. Over all was expectimg more with all the hype of had 600 years to get this beer right. Good beer but dose not live up to the hype.
