UPDATED: FEB 9, 2023 On tap at Jona location. Hazy yellow with medium white head. Aroma is bright lemongrass, medium/light body, medium carbonation, and pretty good lacing. Taste is lemongrass and malt.

UPDATED: MAY 15, 2022 On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear lemon yellow with a thin white head. Aroma of ginger, wheat malt, lemongrass. Flavor of ginger mostly with bready malt in the finish, hint of lemon. Nice ginger beer, refreshing. 7/4/7/4/13 (3.5/5)

UPDATED: AUG 22, 2021 On tap @ Kona Brewing. Cloudy golden beer with a small white head. The nose is lemongrass, white pepper, lemon rind, and pear. Get some bread in there, too. Flavor is sweet bread and orange with a bit of a pear ester. Tangy and bitter lime, lemongrass, and lemon. Slight herbal note on the finish. Maybe a hint of tropical fruit. Better than I expected.

UPDATED: AUG 14, 2019 Sweet and bright. Strong lemongrass flavor, light ginger bite. Well balanced and quite refreshing. Nice beer just not my thing. Would be great replacement for a ginger beer drinker who wants a more subtle complex drink.

UPDATED: JUL 15, 2019 September 11th, 2015 - I stay wary of adding flavors that seem too far from what a beer 'should' be, but admit that lemongrass makes for a tasty flavor. I start by hoping it works well in the lemongrass, and find it in the smell. Tofu, lemongrass, boiled herbs and lots of licorice, this is practically a poultice in a glass, but the flavor is more drinkable. This features some of the carrot cake I observed in the last beer, some lemon verbena, and a lot of basil and sweet potato skin. An odd combination but good and appropriate for island drinking.

UPDATED: JUL 11, 2019 Draft to taster at tap room pour light gold with thin white head. Nose big lemongrass and almost Thai spice. Taste lemongrass and cleaner. Light bitter.

UPDATED: DEC 26, 2018 clear golden with a serviceable eggshell head. Aroma is faint but promises fresh malt and lemongrass. Flavor ramps up both notes a notch. Mouthfeel presents average body and fizz, and has lemongrass in the finish.

This beer is not as good as others in the arsenal but it's sweet, with a hint of lemon. Could be better. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

The beer has got a hazy light golden colour with an airy head and thin Body. Aroma of wheat, hops and ginger. Taste of wheat, Lemon, ginger, herbs and flowers.
