3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing.
Body is dark yellow to light amber.
Aroma is moderately malty (toasted grain, cookie), lightly to moderately hoppy (flowers), with notes of gum, pineapple, banana, pepper.
Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately bitter.
Medium to full body, velvety/watery/syrupy texture, lively carbonation, moderately alcoholic.
Another strong entry from this brewery...probably the best brewery in the state, just based on this and the IPA. Clean, vibrant, balanced, and pretty authentic.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bomber from Safeway in Lahaina. Slightly hazy golden/orange with a small white head. Nice Belgian aroma with a spicy note. Sharp, spiciness hits immediately with a hot alcohol bite. Lots of coriander and baking spice with a nice toasted malt and sweet caramel flavor. This is a big beer but very drinkable and delicious.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle, ABC Store. Murky dun colour. Floral aroma. Taste has that, some phenols and yeastiness. It’s a little muddled, messy, not without good elements (the orchard fruit-alcohol dynamic is pretty classic) but overall a mess.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured from bomber, from the KTA in the Keauhou Shopping Center in Kailua- Kona. Bottle says 8.5%. Poured a cloudy golden with a minimal white head that quickly dissipated. Nose of ripe bananas, bubblegum, mangoes, and honey. Medium-thick bodied beer, with a mainly sweet tropical taste. Oily texture with a nice long finish. Looking forward to stopping by the brewery on this trip.
