14Mar2018 Sweet oak, light bourbon, intense, dark sweet chocolate, cacao. Hazy, very dark brown, no head. Light to medium sweet. More dark, sweet chocolate, dark toasted malts, sweet, dark, moist pralines, bourbon, soft carbonation, full bodied. Very nice, rich and intense, complex. Bottle shared during AB:1 - AB:25 vertical tasting at BrewDog Shepherds Bush - thanks to madmitch76!

Bottle. Pours jet black with almost no head. Berries, chocolate and tobacco in the nose. Surprisingly thin bodied but the tastes are all there; raisins, hint of cherry, bit of chocolate and liquorice, tobacco and tar giving a whisky finish. You can tell the alcohol is there but there’s no heat from it.

Gurthnar (12166) - Bratislava, SLOVAKIA - JAN 8, 2017
Bottle at a tasting. Mostly sweetish and malty, caramel and chocolate notes, slightly woody. Another one of the bunch, which survived the prolonged aging in a pretty good shape. Enjoyed!

thewolf (13752) - Kolding, DENMARK - DEC 31, 2016
Bottle. Pours deep opaque brown to black with no real head. Aroma has plenty of whisky, oak, chocolate, tar, soy sauce. Very low carbonation, quite flat. Fine oily and fat mouthfeel. Flavour has oily malts, chocolate, plenty of tar, oak, light smoky whisky. Mild vinious. Heavy.

Flaska bishops Örebro. Flasktappad för drygt 5 år sedan. Mörkbrun nästan svart vätska utan skum. Djup vibös doft av russin, muscovadosocker, fat, choklad och lite nötter. Portvin. Liknande i smak. Ganska söt men mustig och inte alls sliskig. Lätt torr munkänsla med mjuk och len avrundning

Courtesy of Daniele; synthetic cork, bottled 22.09.11; April 2012
Dark mahogany color, small head. Caramel head, with some oxidisation. Food body, malt and caramel flavor, but too much alcohol; strong bitterness; a bit nutty; moderate sweetness.

The aroma of overripe fruit. Over ripe fruit and easy licorice taste. Okay bitterness that fills the upper part of the mouth for a long time. Not so good beer. But you can drink it. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.
