Cask, on gravity at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol October 2015. Chestnut in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Sweet, nutty, malts, a touch of fruit, cocoa, caramel sweetness and a moderately bitter finish. Ok.

BlackHaddock (15444) - The County Time Forgot, Shropshire, ENGLAND - NOV 4, 2015
Third of a pint in the Moon Under Water, Boston Lincolnshire on 2nd Nov 2015. Malty lead to this reddy brown bodied beer, some hop notes in the nose and finish but otherwise biscuit maltiness all the way. Decent enough Mild, wish more breweries would brew one now and again.

Hippoman (645) - Durham, ENGLAND - NOV 1, 2015
Cask at The Bishops’ Mill (JDW), £1.89/pint Ruby brown pour with a thick, creamy, cream-coloured head. The nose is sweetish with grassy, grainy notes abound. The taste opens with a smoky bitterness and treacle toffee flavours, evocative of bonfire night and edged with earth and wood. The finish is short and sweet with caramel malts clear but well tempered by the smokiness, making this very drinkable. Very good on the whole.
