UPDATED: JAN 28, 2022 Cask Handpump at Penny Black, Northwich 10/10/2011 Fruit and big hop aromas. White head. Golden coloured very hoppy and fruity with citrus and pine flavours. A hint of dryness in a creamy and slightly nutty lasting finish.

Cask Pint – JDW Fest Autumn 2011 in Nov 2011 - Deep Gold/Amber in colour. Very Fruity; very grapefruit-citrus, lemon and tropical fruits. Very Hoppy; piney resinous and grassy hops. Malty backbone. Assertively bitter citrus fruity hoppy throughout. Quite dry. Very drinkable. Liked this lot. Nice Beer! (2011-11-08)

From the bottle, strong hop taste, strong aroma, tasty. Happy to have again. Good ipa

A decent ipa that is really bitter and malty. Not their best beer but better than most. Pours an orange in color and has a bitter finish. Had at American junkie. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: DEC 4, 2013 Nice beer. Good after taste and clean appearance. Would drink again but not a lot at one time.

Cask at wetherspoons, Brixton. Pours an amber gold colour with a thin white head. Aroma is mostly bready, biscuity with a hint of lemon. Medium body. Some overcooked biscuits, bread and some lemon in the taste. Mild, slightly mineral metallic bitterness. OK. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12on.bottle from Winooski Vermont.The color is a hazy light amber with a thin beige head.The aroma is of hops and citrus fruits. The taste also of hops and citrus fruits but the bitter taste is somewhat sour and herbs added to this. It leaves a sour taste in the mouth.

Most notable characteristic is the pleasant deep hoppiness to this craft ale.

Hamilton Hall Spoons. Clear gold beer, little white head. Light dry palate, semi crisp. Mild minerals. Whisper of sulphur. Nice subtle fruits that are vaguely tropical. Bitter marmalade. Dry finish. Okay but not a patch on the previous Stone visit to Spoons!
