UPDATED: MAR 13, 2022 It pours black with a thick, tan head. Head retention is very good. It has strong bourbon aromas with roast. It has dark fruit background note with plum and a hint of vanilla. It has strong bourbon flavors with plenty of roast. There is a medium amount of dark fruit featuring plums and some raisins. There are some very low vanilla elements and a touch of dark cherry. It is silky smooth with strong alcohol warming. Overall, it's quite boozy, but not necessarily in a bad way. The flavors blend well together with strong warming.

UPDATED: NOV 26, 2019 Black color pour with a tan head that leaves heavy lacing. Bitter roasted malt flavor with a hint of vanilla and a very strong sense of bourbon up front. In other words, very boozy. Otherwise, very nice.

L’alcool reste relativement discret.

Bottle [from trade with ThrashD] @ home. Opaque pitch black color, medium to full sized mocha to light brown colored head that lasts for a decent while and leaves fair lacing. Aroma is malts, bourbon, dark malts, a slight hint of caramelised sugars. Really nice. Taste malts, bourbon, dark malts, caramel lightly, lightly bourbon sweetish hints, moderately bitter finish. Medium body, silky smooth texture, suitable soft carbonation. Very very nice beer, absolutely lovely.

Almost a two year old beer that aged well. Lots of wood and bourbon in the taste. Definitely a sipper. I would suggest this beer to a friend.barnyard,
