Nutella aroma , scent of chocolate & peanut butter ... mocha chocolate taste , thinnish body , easy drinking beer , dry , well balanced , mild coffee taste : Nice !

UPDATED: MAR 17, 2023 Draft at Floating Taipei. Poured almost black in colour with a thin off white head. The aroma is roasty malt, big coffee. The flavour is liqourice bitter, with a smooth, roasty, dry ashtray, liqourice bitter palate. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation.

UPDATED: FEB 24, 2023 16 ounce can from Tavour. Barely translucent cola brown color. Large, firm tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, fresh brewed coffee and cacao powder. Lovely bittersweet essence of dark roasted coffee and chocolate malt. Soft on palate. The roasted malt and coffee characteristics are completely merged to produce a singular complexity of flavor. My two favorite beverages are married into one. Absolute heaven.

UPDATED: JUL 12, 2022 Can from Lupulo in Santa Cruz. Deep black with medium dense dark tan foam. Strong dark roast coffee aroma. Nice light porter sweetness. Pretty good.

UPDATED: MAY 8, 2022 473ml can. Pours a dark black with soft tan head. Huge coffee nose with hints of bitterness and dark chocolate. Medium body with lower carbonation. Rich dark chocolate with coffee bringing bitterness and tannins. Robust dark malt profiles which really shine.

UPDATED: APR 29, 2022 Pours dark brown with a large tan head. Nose shows earthy coffee, raisins, golden syrup, oxidised notes, molasses. Flavours include more old coffee, slightly acrid, oxidised notes, soft roast.

UPDATED: MAR 3, 2022 The aromas are old coffee, molasses, dark malt and black patent. Flavors are fairly smooth, nice balance between bitter, sweet and carbonation. Good body and a coffee cocoa bitter finish.

UPDATED: JAN 13, 2022 US Pint can at my daughters in Laguna Hills, California on 12th January 2022. Pretty dark brown, it's black really, on top a tanned foaming head. Coffee esters in the nose, the taste also coffee flavoured. Body wise it has a fairly slick and smooth feel, almost oily. Nice final beer of the night.
